Aïsha Qandicha is an original animated feature inspired by Moroccan mythology and folklore. Set in a cyberpunk Casablanca, it reimagines one of Morocco's most revered and feared mythical demons, Aïsha Qandicha, through the eyes of a grieving mother who finds an unexpected second chance at motherhood.

The Big Castle

  • Format: 22-minute animated series

  • Target Audience: Upper 9–12

The Big Castle is an original 22-minute animated series set in a Moroccan fantasy world à la Alice in Wonderland. It follows a young girl who will stop at nothing to rescue her sister, a heartfelt story about sisterhood and the bonds that make us who we are.

Past Projects – IP Development & Adaptation

These projects reflect Fatima's ongoing work identifying, developing, and packaging IP for animation. She continues to actively explore new IP and remains in ongoing conversations with authors, literary agents, publishers, and rights holders to explore future adaptation opportunities.

Fatima is particularly drawn to IP with compelling, poignant stories and characters with a strong voice. She has a particular affinity for fantasy, horror, and creepy-cute worlds, and for stories that embrace representation, diversity, and fresh perspectives.

Fatima previously held shopping agreements to develop adaptations of middle-grade and YA titles from HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster. These agreements have since concluded, and she no longer holds any rights to the properties.
